I am so honored to introduce myself to you as the owner and principle planner and designer of Sheree Amour Weddings & Event Planning. After discovering a hidden talent for planning and creating unforgettable events, I decided to gain more knowledge and pursue a career in the industry. I received my certification through the nation’s leading certification program – The Bridal Society.
Prior to receiving my certification, I spent a number of years putting my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications to use by dedicating my services to the public/media relations industry at CBS/CW 50 Detroit television station, one of the nation’s top ten television markets. I devoted my time to producing local broadcasting shows, public service announcements, and written material for community and non-profit organizations and local businesses. In addition to that, I worked on various campaigns, and worked with prominent leaders to coordinate sponsored community events throughout the Metro Detroit area.
After my tenure with CBS/CW 50, I began working for one of the nation’s largest federal agencies in Washington, DC — the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, by leading the agencies public affairs team and effectively conveying the policies, programs and services of the agency to federal, state and local entities, as well as to the vulnerable children and families we served.
This led to my ambitions of leading my own team in doing what I felt most passionate about...which led to the launch of Sheree Amour Weddings & Event Planning. As a perfectionist, I received my Master of Business Administration Degree in Hospitality Management and followed my dreams! My love for celebrations, romance, and elegance is the driving force behind my passion in being one of North Carolina's most enthusiastic wedding and event planners. Turning every thought and detail into a reality for my clients and creating those memorable moments to reflect back on is what fuels my commitment in producing a spectacular event!
