We are adding to our amazing team! We're looking to hire:
- Wedding & Event Day Assistant
- Social Media Intern
Wedding & Event Day Assistant Responsibilities
- Shadow lead planner and/or associate planners on a minimum of 3 events unpaid (training requirement)
- Assist wedding/event planner with preparing for the day of an event. These duties will more than likely be performed no more than two weeks prior to a scheduled event and leading up to the event.
- Assist with set up, breakdown and flow of the event during the day of the wedding/event.
- Serve as point of contact for vendors and provide the necessary correspondence as needed.
- Prepare to work a minimum of 6 hours and maximum of 8 hours during the day of an event.
- Serve as assistant for other special projects as needed, i.e. style shoots, bridal shows, special company coordinated/hosted events, etc.
Social Media Intern Responsibilities
- Research topics and the latest trends in the wedding & event planning industry.
- Coordinate meetings and/or conference calls to discuss strategy, messaging and execution of blog and social media posts.
- Assist in selecting topics and being creative to effectively convey the brand of Sheree Amour Weddings & Event Planning.
- Create weekly social media posts across all social media platforms; Facebook, Instagram, Twitter.
- Capture any behind the scenes video during events for Snap Chat, Periscope, YouTube, etc.
- Monitor comments, provide correspondence as needed on social media sites.
- Create mandatory monthly blog posts for the Sheree Amour Blog and other posts as needed.
- Track and share any features and/or published work of Sheree Amour Weddings.
Qualifications
- Work well independently, as a team and under pressure, as this is a very demanding industry.
- Possess a professional demeanor at all times, especially while representing the Sheree Amour brand.
- Possess a passion for the wedding & event planning industry.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Great creative skills.
- Attention to detail, very organized.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with social media platforms.
- Knowledge of computer, internet and Microsoft programs.
- Willing to sign, agree and adhere to our Non-Compete Agreement.
Additional Information:
- Candidates must have reliable transportation as our services cover North Carolina, therefore, you must be willing to travel as needed.
- Positions will start out as a Part-Time position with the potential to lead to Full-Time.
